Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact exercise system that combines strength training, flexibility, light cardio, and breathing techniques. Developed in the 1920s by Joseph and Clara Pilates to help injured dancers and soldiers. It focuses on strengthening the deeper muscles that support structure and overall health. Pilates involves a series of slow, controlled movements that challenge the core by moving the arms or legs while holding a position.
